The College of Computer Science and Information Technology participated in the "Nafas Al-Basrah" (Breath of Basrah) afforestation campaign, held in front of the college’s signage. The event was attended by the President of University of Basrah, Prof. Dr. Aqeel Fadhil Al-Dahan, as part of broader efforts to expand green spaces, raise environmental awareness, and foster a culture of tree planting and environmental conservation.

This campaign underscores the importance of environmental initiatives in enhancing the city's aesthetic appeal, increasing green cover, and promoting a spirit of cooperation and social responsibility toward the environment—all of which contribute to building a more sustainable and beautiful university campus.
