For the second consecutive day, the Global Entrepreneurship Week activities continued at the College of Engineering, University of Basrah, with the active participation of the College of Computer Science and Information Technology. The event was attended by the President of University of Basrah, Prof. Dr. Muhannad Jawad Kadhum Al-Asadi, and his assistant for scientific affairs, Prof. Dr. Haider Khazal Mahbas Al-Kaabi.
The College of Computer Science and Information Technology's participation stemmed from the university's commitment to fostering a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship among its students, encouraging them to transform their scientific and technological ideas into viable projects that contribute to serving the community and supporting sustainable development.
The events included a special exhibition showcasing student ideas and projects. This exhibition featured a range of initiatives and entrepreneurial projects that reflected the creativity and scientific capabilities of the students of the College of Computer Science and Information Technology, as well as their dedication to finding practical solutions to contemporary challenges in various technological fields.
The University President explained that the participation of the scientific colleges, including the College of Computer Science and Information Technology, in these events contributes to fostering a spirit of initiative and teamwork, opening new horizons for students to learn about entrepreneurship concepts, building the skills necessary for the job market, and supporting promising ideas and linking them to practical reality.
