The College of Computer Science and Information Technology Organizes a Workshop on Proving Iraqi Identity After 2003

The College of Computer Science and Information Technology organized a scientific workshop entitled “Proving Iraqi Identity: A Historical and Analytical Study After 2003,” presented by Dr. Hassan Malih Nasser, with the participation of several faculty members and students.

The workshop addressed the dimensions and transformations of Iraqi identity after 2003, highlighting the political, social, and cultural challenges that contributed to reshaping the concept of national identity. The presenter also reviewed the historical aspects of Iraqi identity, with an in-depth analysis of the changes that have affected its structure during the contemporary period.

He emphasized the importance of strengthening national belonging and consolidating a unified Iraqi identity by supporting community awareness and emphasizing the shared cultural and historical elements that unite the Iraqi people.
