The Department of Computer Information Systems at the College of Computer Science and Information Technology organized a seminar titled “Detecting Fake Instagram Accounts Using Supervised Machine Learning.”

The seminar aimed to highlight the use of machine learning techniques in detecting fake accounts on social media.

The seminar, presented by graduate student Basma Sadiq Hussein under the supervision of Dr. Nahla Abbas Faleh, included an analysis of static and temporal characteristics and their comparison using advanced learning models, which enhances security and credibility measures on digital platforms.
