University of Basrah Organizes Visit to Orphanage

The Department of Intelligent Medical Systems at the College of Computer Science and Information Technology at University of Basrah organized a visit to an orphanage to celebrate the birth of the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) and the start of the new academic year.
The visit primarily aimed to demonstrate social solidarity with orphans and give them an opportunity to participate in important occasions such as the Prophet's birth and the start of the academic year. It is an opportunity to promote human values ​​and send a message of love and care to orphans, as well as motivate them to pursue knowledge and education and encourage them to begin the new academic year with optimism. The visit also contributes to raising awareness of the health benefits of modern medical technologies, which may help improve the level of healthcare received by orphans.

The visit, made by a delegation from the Department of Intelligent Medical Systems to the Al-Zohour and Al-Baraem orphanages, included a series of activities and events that combined social and humanitarian aspects. There was a celebration to mark the birth of the Prophet and the start of the new academic year, where the orphans were congratulated on this occasion, emphasizing the importance of education and paying attention to their spiritual and educational aspects.  The visit may include recreational activities or gift distribution to motivate the children, helping to improve their psychological state and giving them a sense of care and attention.
