The College of Computer Science and Information Technology at University of Basrah organized a scientific lecture titled "Patient Data Management System Using Blockchain Technology"
The lecture aims to protect patient privacy and ensure the integrity of medical records from tampering or loss. This is achieved by using encryption technologies such as AES and storing data within a distributed blockchain network containing multiple nodes to ensure availability and synchronization.
The lecture, delivered by Zainab Abdul Wahid, a graduate student in the Department of Computer Science, addressed the secure and seamless sharing of information between healthcare institutions, providing a reliable digital environment that enhances the quality of medical care and protects data from cyber threats.
