
Prof.Dr. Hisham Kadhum Hashim, Dean of the College of Computer Science and Information Technology at University of Basrah, participated in the regular meeting of deans of computer science and information technology faculties at Iraqi universities, held at the Informatics Institute for Graduate Studies at the University of Information Technology and Communications in Baghdad. The deans discussed a number of important topics and decisions related to curriculum modernization, including topics related to information technology, digital transformation, and artificial intelligence. These topics align with the government's approach to keeping pace with rapid developments and the transition to e-governance. The deans agreed to continue communicating with each other for consultation and discussion to enhance the status and importance of information technology in the labor market. At the end of the meeting, the President of the University of Information Technology and Communications, Prof.Dr. Abbas Mohsen Al-Bakri, presented certificates of appreciation to the deans of the faculties of computer science and information technology in appreciation of their efforts in organizing the meeting.
